Tyring new things!

As I said before I am going to try to keep posting on a semi regular basis. I feel it is a good outlet, i just sometimes my brain gets a little lazy when it comes to being creative.

So i made a new blog header... not sure that i like it.. So be watching it might change soon... I just cant make up my mind.. let me know what you think? How/what  could i do to improve it. I do everything on photoshop, because that is just what i know.

But anywho. life here in Minni is going well. Zach and are I are slowly but surely settling into our new jobs. Its a bit of an adjustment, but I think we are doing alright!

My day-to-day has changed a lot since we moved here. We dont go to bed till 10 or later because Zach doesnt get home till far after 9. Then we eat dinner, and catch up on our days, then pass out. We wake up in the morning around 9.. Well I do at least. Zach wakes up much earlier, but is kind enough to entertain himself with funny videos on the computer or his ukulele and lets me sleep in a little while. ( He has quickly learned I am not a morning person!) 

Then we eat breakfast together, usually pack up his lunch, or just hang out/ get ready, and then head down to the office at 11:30 or so.

Then my day consists of lots and lots of papers, and every other day the phones... which means I basically cant do anything, just in case on of the boys calls in.

So I have been learning to keep myself busy...
      Things i do...
1. Catch up on shows on Hulu because we dont have cable.
2. Read: The Last Song
3. Crafts
4. My HW : I am taking an online D&C class. Its actually kind of cool to see how much that i already know. Zach was impressed with my knowledge. : )
5. clean & do laundry
6. make cookies: I have made 3 batches since we have been here, Zach sure appreciates it, as well as all the rest of the guys.
7. Answer phones.. which usually takes up most of the time I have.


Another New thing, I GOT BANGS!

   Nikki, the other wife i work with in the office, cuts hair! so she gave me some sweet bangs! I feel like its something you see often... girl just gets married and chops all of her hair off.. well since i dont really have any hair in the first place, i thought... Why Not? I havent had bangs in a while! So i got them. Thanks Nikki!

Happy Day for Mommies!

 Today I have had a good chance to think about my mom and all of the wonderful things she has done for me. Over the last few years as most people know I have moved away from home (22 hours away from home to be exact) while going to school in Idaho. Over this time my relationship with  my mom has been ever strengthened. I think I now have a better relationship with my mom than i ever did before. I think being so far away gave me a really good perspective on how much my mom really influenced my life.
   As a lot of people also know, I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, and this transformation for me really wasn't all that difficult, and i attribute most of that to the way my mom raised me. We as kids always knew right from wrong, and always knew the right way to act. She is always there for me no matter what life hands me, and always supports me, even if she doesnt quite understand what I am doing, or where I am going.
   My mom has influenced my life so much and hope to one day be able to be the kind of mother she is to my own kids. She has so much strength, as seen by her courage in the last few years. She would do anything for her kids and her family and she is a wonderful example to me.

Thanks Mom for all you do. and i know i dont get to say this enough, I love you.

Long time no blog!

Well its probably about time I updated the blogging world on the on-goings in my life. 

So Zach and I got married in the Nauvoo Temple on April 17th! We never thought the day was going to come! But it was perfect and we couldnt have asked for a better day! I will post picture later... when i actually get them. haha

Now Zach and I are out in Minnesota for the summer with Pinnacle alarms doing summer sales. Zach is a sales rep, and I work in the office. We have just been out here a little bit over a week, but so far so good. 

We have made one trip to the Mall of American, and guess what?! Zach bought two shirts and I bought dinner... haha I am being a good new wife and trying to keep an eye on my spending! 

Anywho. I just got internet today, so i thought i would give a little update.. more later..

Counting down..

There is basically only one month left of school and I cannot wait!!!!!!
Since I will be living in Minnesota this summer I am choosing to only take a few online classes next semester. Even though i have only been in school one semester this year, I'm slightly burnt out! I just registered this morning and boy was that difficult! BYU-Idaho is making it as difficult as they possibly can to figure out the stupid new website!!  Anywho, Im  signed up for Media Law and Ethics and D&C. I am excited.

So this weekend Zach went to Boise for Pinnacle, and I got to chill at home. It was kind of boring, but it was nice to relax and not do anything. I did however edit some of Zach and I's engagement pictures!

& got a bunch of invites sent out! yay!! now im just waiting till my sisters list gets to me, then they will all be finished!
